Sock Monkey

Here is another sewing project I have to share.  I found the instructions for this little guy on http://www.sewingrepublic.com/.  You just use a pair of knee high striped socks and a couple of buttons and the sewing machine to put him together.

He turned out so cute, I had to have a little bit of fun with him.  He loves to watch movies and have a nice popcorn snack.
And, I also gave him a little banana friend to play with, lol.

Well, that is just adorable! I love it! Is the sewing hard? I have a sewing machine and I am at the "very beginner" level. I may try to make one of these sometime soon.

It is not too bad. I have only done beginner projects so far, and this monkey is listed as beginner on the site. I am working on a cactus pin cushion right now. I have really enjoyed sewing so far.
